Please-this building is a treasure !!! Can it be repaired before this fall? And hopefully by someone that is more than skilled in masonry repair? Not just a quick patch job? Thanks !

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Looking at the picture, it appears that that decorative coating over the cement block foundation is coming off, but the actual foundation is still sound. We will have a qualified inspector look at it and determine the next steps.

Hm-m-m. Seems to be more than just the decorative coating. Quite a bit of actual crumbling and cracking going on. I will go and take more pictures. Thank you !

I agree. This band shell needs to be preserved. Perhaps the Ann Arbor Civic Orchestra would like to get involved?
