Thank you for using myGNV to advise the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department of this issue. Staff noticed the presence of these gators about two weeks ago. Staff have been instructed to keep an eye on both of them. If they remain in the park and get larger (large enough for removal), or begin to follow guests, we will have them removed. Typically we see gators of this size around this time of year and then they move onto larger bodies of water, in other areas of the city. If they become a nuisance the Florida Fish and Wildlife will be out to remove them. Currently they are not of size to be removed. Florida Fish and Wildlife has also been notified just in case.

Thanks for the response! I'm more concerned about park goers messing with the gators than vice-versa, but so long as they're being looked after, that's fine.
