The intersection at Marriottsville when you make a right turn into Waverly Woods Development continues to be a dangerous situation because the cars coming down the road that need to make a left turn continue to cut off the vehicles turning right on a green light.

Something has to be done because the drivers do not regulate theirselves and follow the rules. They believe they have to right of way even though they are turning left. Can a turn arrow be added onto the traffic signal during high peak hours such as rush hours in the morning and evening? This morning, I was almost killed by a driver that insisted they had the right of way turning left when I had a green light. The problem is that this car was being followed by a stream of cars wanting to do the same thing. I have never seen such a mess. The most concerning part of this is that the drivers knew they were wrong because initially the car was creeping into the intersection and stopped for a moment when I did honk. However, then started proceeding forward and would not stop with all the other cars wanting to do the same.

Since I have moved in 10 years ago, there has been several accidents at that intersection. With increasing homes being built, this issue is only going to get worse.
