Sidewalks on upper Ames and N. Cary St need to be cleared. A lot of people don't drive and have to walk to Cary hill plaza for meds and food supplies. With the sidewalks not cleared this adversely affects the quality of life for a lot of people in the ward. Plus there are multiple school bus stops in the area, not to mention that with the Ashfield School now a middle school this is within the walking area of the school. The Ames and N. Cary St area is very busy when the kids are walking to and from school with the train station nearby. There have been numerous accidents in this area endangering anyone walking in the street because of the uncleared sidewalks. I spoke with kiddie councilor lally and was told that this area does not get plowed. Seems nothing gets done in ward 6. However, the sidewalks along the lower end of N. Cary in ward 5 are cleared to the ground
