I am not sure if this is the proper channel to share my concern. I tried to fill out a form on the "questionnaire" page and it was inactive. So, I want to let you know about an incident that just happened to me. Three adults and 1 toddler in a stroller were attempting to cross at the pedestrian crosswalk located on Platt at Edgewood St. We were crossing East to West.
Not ONE car slowed down or stopped, in either direction!!!!! Because of the holiday traffic was much lighter than normal. We waited and crossed safely. I'm rattled because NO ONE even attempted to slow down!!! I couldn't get my phone ready to capture this, but going forward I will have my video running if I attempt to cross at one of these crosswalks again.
I'm not sure if repainting the markings will help or not.
