There is a church at 180 Hopkins Ave in Jersey City. Accros the street from that church, there is a water leak underneath the pavement. Water is seeping out of the pavement and accumulating near the sidewalk. The leak has been observec for one week but no repairs were untertaken yet presumably because the leak is a small one. Still, water is a precious commodity so a repair should should not be delayed unnecesserily.

This was investigated by Suez on August 26th and we found no leak. Another inspector is en route to recheck.

The water is still leaking. I can see it from my kitchen window. The inspector needs only to check the surface of the pavement to see the leak. On the first look it looks like somebody spilled water, Perhaps that was the reason why the inspector on August 26th failed to notice the leak. But the wet area persists for days and on close inspecition one can see water coming out of the pavement.

Suez mark out area dug out to expose service and main leak was on 3/4" copper service. property owner issued a leak letter and owner to get plumber.
