Online reporting is available for non-emergency police reports, such as property damage, telephone harassment and vehicle prowling. Emergency situations should always be referred to 911. If the incident is not an emergency, it happened within the city limits, there are no known suspects and it did not happen on a freeway please use the online reporting at http://www.TukwilaWA.gov/OnlineReporting.
Are you kidding me? You're going to pass this off when there are firearms involved? People are now finding guns in the park and you take a no-big-deal attitude? Geeeez, what is this city coming to anyway? God help you
Not an emergency? it's a real freaking emergency, one that you're aware of yet unwilling to do anything about!!! Online reporting lol what a freaking joke you people are it's sickening

Park is being patrolled, however PD isn't there 24/7. Any specific information regarding vehicles and their license plates, descriptions of persons would be greatly appreciated.

Why aren't the police considering this a "hotspot" and devoting more attention to it? The Tukwila Police should really get their ducks in a row and put their priorities in order. You spent too much of the city's budget on things that could have waited and put the budget where it really belongs. You guys should make it your"Prime Directive" and put it toward the people of the city.
These messages should be passed on to the Tukwila Police Dept. and not just kicked to the side of the curb. They are FACTS, not suggestions. If something is not done soon about the drugs and guns, someone will get hurt. You're going to wait until someone is injured or shot until you do something, right? Typical attitude of the law. You wait until there is a death until you take legal action. Someone has to die first. BLOODY CRAZY!
Well guess what neighbor's, were getting a WHOLE homeless camp next to Cascade view elementary school. Isn't that awesome? What do you think about that Cheryl? Should we stick to "reporting online" still, shows how effective this is doesn't it?
Is this bunch given the freedom to stand on corners or in front of stores and panhandle and beg? I consider it an eyesore to see these people this far into the city limits. They should keep to themselves and told to avoid any begging or panhandling. They do it for one reason only......drugs or booze.
What do you mean "this far into the city limits"? Across Military Rd is Seatac, not Tukwila, the homeless camp is going to be about a football field inside the city limits.
Secondly, as much as you may not want to see it, I can't find anywhere where panhandling is illegal in Tukwila. In addition to that, if they are on private property it is up to the owner of the property to do something about it.
Finally, from reading your posts you seem more intent on complaining about what you feel others should or shouldn't be doing than actually trying to fix anything. If you love this city as much as you claim to, maybe you should run for some kind of office instead of complaining from the shadows.
You don't seem too concerned. But that's your problem and I'm not running for any kind of office at my age. That's just the point, may be panhandling should be illegalized. I don't have the power to do anything. Do you? It's the authorities that hold all the cards. And I'll complain if I want to. Talk to the hand!
If you try to make a complaint to Tukwila Police and you don't have video of it, it DIDN'T HAPPEN in their eyes. They are WAY TOO LENIENT on small time criminals and their acts. After being definitively threatened by a jerk that used to live next door to me, they didn't bother to come after I called them. That same said jerk poisoned my cat (although cost doesn't make a pet more valuable, he was an $850.00 purebred Ocicat.) They REFUSED to even write a report for me, let alone enforce Tukwila law! I could go on an on about REPEATED break in attempts ( I KNOW WHO IS RESPONSIBLE) to the point where my deadbolt locks barely function from being repeatedly picked. Tukwila is NOT getting any better with time! I've probably spent more time living here than just about anyone, my parents lived in "old Tukwila" in the 1950's when I was born. I still have memories of it, from the time before I started in kindergarten, it was like PLEASANTVILLE back then. The people were very nice and supportive of each other, there was a real sense of "community" back then. I have a memory of my father complaining that Tukwila Police gave him a ticket for going 2 miles over the speed limit, I guess they didn't have anything to do back in those days. In 1960 we relocated to Riverton Heights (now Tukwila) where the people weren't as nice, but the area was MUCH BETTER than it is now. Over the years mass apartment re-zoning and every form of low income housing known to man being allowed (or invited) into Tukwila by past City Councils laid the ground work for the destruction of was once a real life PLEASANTVILLE. Maybe Tukwila PD is called to the Mall constantly , maybe that is where they spend a lot of their time, but my experience is they CAN'T BE BOTHERED to enforce the lesser crimes on the books. I lived in Bellevue for awhile, where police were MUCH MORE RESPONSIVE to the needs of their citizens ( and LESS tolerant of criminal like activity), the difference between the two is very noticeable. Maybe they will come if you've been murdered, but, at that point, who cares?
Could you send me an email telling me WHY MY COMMENT WAS BLOCKED! I didn't use any bad language or set out to attack anyone, it was just a heartfelt statement. what has to be changed to make it acceptqable to you?
Yeh! If you're going to do nothing but criticize me for standing up for my rights, why not? I have my rights just as they do. If you're angry at the Police, why don't you call the non-emergency phone and spill the beans with them. Not me!
Why is it that the law needs someone to get injured or killed before they take any action? Seems like it defeats the purpose of having them around. Things might get worse before they get better and that is really sad. This country's government is that way. About time that the people took matters into their own hands.
