Tell that to the bus drivers and truck drivers that have to navigate the bollards there. I have never touched one. Strange the crosswalks on Miller and Maple do not have to have bollards at the fog/bike lane line.Leave one at the center line, but the outside bollards are are not necessary or they would be everywhere there is a crosswalk.
They seem to do OK for the most part. It can seem tight in a car, too, but they are at the lane widths. I think the fact that most stay up most of the time means they are very navigable.
