One dead tree from my neighbors yard fell on my fence overnight and there is another one that is also dead and can fall at any time! The first one just missed my car but the next one might not miss it!
Update from Community Services: the maintenance of trees that are located on private property is the responsibility of the property owner. To obtain a permit for tree removal, the property owner may contact Zoning at 727-893-7471. For more information about protected, grand, and signature trees as well as other regulations governing tree removal, please visit our Urban Forestry webpage by following the link below:
If you feel that the trees on the neighboring property are posing a safety issue for residents and that the abutting property owner is not maintaining the trees as they are required to do, please contact the Codes Compliance Assistance Department at 727-893-7373 and give that property's address.
