They are often unprofessional at that corner. We get it oftne when walking to jornaln square.

So sorry to hear that. My kids go to school on that corner and I LOVE our crossing guards! This is one of the most difficult intersections in the city and they literally took almost a year to replace a guard who was seriously injured on the job when she was threatened by a pedestrian and backed away. The guards on this corner are horribly abused and mistreated by motorists and pedestrians alike, ALL. THE. TIME. We really need JCPD on this corner to back them up with enforcement. I’m sorry if they appeared rude to you, but again, people treat them horribly and they are doing an extra-ordinarily difficult and dangerous job.

We were not who reported this. I can say that we had an odd interaction a few times several weeks ago and maybe it was just a replacement that week...
