Hello! I am not sure who to contact, so please pass this message to whoever is in charge. I live in the above address. I have noticed how from my place to East Bay is not pedestrian friendly at all. Sidewalks are just on some sections, on both sides of Starkey.
Last week I was waiting on the traffic light on the east side of Starkey, I was right on the development entrance before the Starbucks and AT&T plaza. I saw this old lady with a walker on the exit of that plaza and thought to myself how crazy she was, trying to cross the street there, when the crosswalk was just a few feet away. Believe it or not, she was waiting for cars to clear so she could get on the street and go towards that development.
I moved here almost 2 yrs ago. I come from Pembroke Pines, where sidewalks are everywhere. I had already been wondering why the lack of sidewalks. But to witness that old lady with the walker to get on the street, quite honestly it is appalling that the city has not done anything to fix this.
