There are also a dozen pot holes at Howard Street near Golden Place. Now drivers have to slow down however. As much as we hate to see so many pot holes, drivers are being forced to slow down at long last. No one has been willing to put in a crosswalk, a 25 mile an hour sign or even a stop or slow down sign on this narrow street. Since Howard Street is all down hill, towards Pine Street, it's easy to pick up speed. For shame on the town of Burlington for a three block stretch with no stop signs.
