Where is all the water coming from. There are puddles even when it is not raining. The water is NOT at 301 Woodland. The water is near the Lawhon residence on woodland crossing over to the personnel gate at Prestwood. This water accumulation started in January after the really hard freeze. Initially thought it was a burst pipe but it has not dried up. There is definitely something going on there.

What you are seeing is storm water runoff. Most of the storm water from the city empties into Prestwood Lake at some point through ditches or the storm water system. With the amount of rain we have been receiving, there is a lot of water going to the lake. Thank you for your continued vigilance on this matter.
