Over the last 2 weeks, a city employee has been here to weed areas around and inside the dog park. This has been much needed!! So, thank you. Unfortunately, he skips areas that are overgrown and completely ignores other areas. It’s difficult to say if he’ll eventually address these areas. It’s a small park and surrounding areas, but he’s taking an extremely long time with very little progress. Project management costs are absorbing tax dollars that could be better spent :/ in addition to the weeding, the ground inside the park needs attention. Most of the surface gravel is gone, leaving rocks exposed and holes in the hard dirt surface. The exposed rocks are a hazard to any dog running inside the park. The park used to be well maintained until about September. Pics included of my concerns.
