Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for contacting OAK311 regarding this matter. However, additional information is needed before your service request can be processed. Please provide a detailed description of the parking violation occurring. Are there For Sale signs posted on or within the vehicles? Have the vehicles been in place for more than 72 hours consecutively?
Please be advised that OPD has changed their business process for reporting abandoned vehicles. Effectively January 1, 2019, to report an abandoned vehicle, please click here: https://www.oaklandca.gov/services/oak311 and select Parking – Abandoned Vehicle. You may also download the OAK311 mobile app, which is now available in the App Store for Apple devices and Google Play for Android.
If you are reporting a suspected stolen vehicle, or a vehicle is blocking your driveway and preventing you from entering or exiting, please contact the Oakland Police Non-Emergency line at 510-777-3333.
Note that phone calls and voicemails are no longer available options for reporting abandoned vehicles.
Thank you.
