BOTH 13 & 15 STEGMAN PROPERTIES HAD FRONT LANDSCAPING AND WITHOUT ANY APPROVAL, REMOVED THE LANDSCAPING AND INSTALLED CARPORTS. BOTH WENT TO COURT IN 2007 AND 2008. I ASSUME THAT IF THE GATES REMAINED SEALED THERE WOULD BE NO ORDER TO REPLACE THE LANDSCAPING AND RESTORE ANY CURB CUTS.

I understand that our carport is not legal at 15 stegman street which we don't use cause people park in front and i am okay with that. But the owners/tenants at 13 Stegman are demanding nobody blocks their "driveway" and if you see the pics i attached have also put up a sign No parking. So my question
is are they allowed to do that? only reason why i am concerned is parking on our block is really horrible and i need to if what they are doing is legal. thanks

But the owner/tenants at 13 Stegman are telling neighbors and putting up no parking signs.Only reason why I’m insisting on this issue is cause finding parking it’s an absolute nightmare on the block.So my question is are they allow to do that and if not how do we about making sure they know that is not a legal carport.

Zoning does this mean you will go to 13 Stegman and stop the illegal parking?

i will inspect 13 Stegman, if i see "no parking" signs, i will inform the owners to remove them. If there is no action, i will inform them again in court.

When will someone come and inspect.they are calling jersey city parking authority to come and give out tickets for people blocking the “driveway”This needs to be addressed asap

Anything on the inspection yet?

The owner call zoning and was informed his driveway was illegal. The no parking sign was taken down. He is a new owner and the tenants of the building erected the sign. Re-inspection will be next week.
