I have not received a response from F Floyd to my inquiry above. The lights in this block that are not working are in front of the office building at 125 Clairemont Ave., where The Cornerstone Bank is located. There are about 5 streetlights in this block that appear to be a different type from most of the lights in downtown Decatur, and they are still not working. I walk in this area often after dark, and it would be a much brighter walk if these lights were functional. If the City is not responsible for them, then please advise who the responsible party is so that I can contact them. Thank you very much.

I have never received a response to my concerns. I have learned that some of the lights in question were gas lights that were previously kept operable by Atlanta Gas Light Company when they had offices in that building; but since they are no longer there, the lights are no longer operable. There is also one electric light there that is not working. Regardless, my point remains that there are currently no lights on this side of the street for approx. 1/2 block, and this is an area where pedestrians often walk.

I've never received a response to this concern, which is very discouraging. I submitted it over a year ago.

I will close this out because (sadly) I have never gotten a response and realize that I will never get one. I don't understand why the City of Decatur still has this as a means of communication since it's clearly not monitored very well. This is very disappointing to me.
