I am a compassionate citizen. My child attends the facility and IS IN A wheelchair. Seems your comment would be better directed at the facility that seems to think they themselves are special. They don't seem compassionate enough to allow the people who pay them the same courtesy of convenient loading/unloading. And, no, it is not legal to to park in marked fire lanes.

I am a "compassionate citizen". I am a parent whose pays for this facility use AND MY CHILD IS IN A WHEELCHAIR. What you are clueless to, is that the facility believes they can illegally park and demand others who use their facility to not have the same benefit. It is illegal for all, but if they are going to break the law, they should not be "throwing stones".

P.S. As the concerned citizen that you are, I'm sure you'll be first in line to express your condolences for the children at the charter school next door, when fire rescue cannot get there.

I apologize if I have misunderstood the situation. From the initial report, I thought the spaces were intended for client drop-off/pick-up - not for sole use of the staff for long term parking. There must be some reason why the city has allowed the signs to be swapped out, so, hopefully, the city will reconsider the situation in favor of safety and the needs of the children. I have voted to fix this issue.
