It is a very dangerous section of road for cycling due to the potholes in the bike lane. What could be a more permanent solution than filling with loose asphalt?

This issue has been reported to this site many times per year for many years. It has damaged tires, mufflers, and puts bike riders at serious risk. What is the city liability on this issue and when or is it scheduled for a permanent repair?
