I see where the handicap sign issue at 55 North Manning has been "assigned" to Traffic Engineering on seeclickfix, but the one remaining sign at 47 North Manning still appears to be "open". Will someone be taking a look at this SOON? I have left messages for Traffic Engineering on at least seven different occasions, neighbors have told me they have called too.

Neither of these two parking spaces has had the signs removed yet.If the city is overworked I'm sure I can find someone to remove them.

The sign attached to the telephone pole in front of 47 N Manning is still there.

It is May, neighbors and I started calling about this issue OVER a year ago when the individual who had the space moved. A (single) handicap sign is still attached to a "telephone pole" (not a street sign pole) in front of 47 N Manning Blvd, the other was removed back in December. However, the city is still ticketing people for parking there. It is not a "VALID" handicap space. When you go to City Hall to get the ticket "voided" all they want to do is reduce it. They still expect you to pay! If the City of Albany is trying to make up for their six million dollar deficit with parking tickets, they should start by trolling the shopping centers for people parked in handicap spaces and fire lanes. Or, how about all those people who double park on Central Avenue during the busiest times of the day. Are you hiring?!

It's June. The sign is still there!

The sign was finally removed. Still waiting for a court date to contest a ticket for parking in this space! Why didn't Parking Enforcement know it wasn't a valid handicap spot? Why after going to City Hall with documentation and photos am I waiting for a court date?
