Description

A resident of the Terraces came into the Wareham office to ask if we would make a comment that the delivery trucks are unable to park and deliver now that the bicycle lane barriers have been installed.

The barriers were installed specifically to prevent illegal parking in the bike lane. Delivery drivers need to find a legal location to make deliveries, that doesn't involve parking at a red curb and blocking a bike lane.

There is no legal location provided to the Terraces residents for deliveries or moves. There is no legal place for the garbage and recycling receptacles either.

Sounds like the Terraces needs to figure out a solution to this issue, as opposed to ignoring it and blocking the bike lane.
