Ann Arbor painted lines for a crosswalk on the north side of Madison and State. Law students and undergraduate students use this crosswalk every day. While we are grateful for the crosswalk, it is very dangerous. Friends of mine have witnessed half a dozen incidents since last semester where students almost got hit by cars at night because it is not obvious that it is a crosswalk. The city needs to install these lights so the blood of students hit by cars are not on your hands. Thank you for your time and consideration!
