THIS IS A DISGRACE AND VERY SAD~~ APPARENTLY ANIMAL CONTROL AND/OR LIBERTY HUMAINE HAS BEEN CALLED. SAD, SAD, SAD, THAT NOW HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL HANDLE THIS VERY SAD SITUATION FOR THIS DOG AND ITS NOT TOO LATE!! :-( The laws need to be Stronger for ANIMAL RIGHTS. ON ANOTHER SUBJECT, VERY SAD THAT ITS LEGAL TO BREED DOGS IN BACKYARDS, VERY, VERY SAD. POOR DOGS OUTSIDE ALL DAY & NIGHT IN COLD AND HOR WEATHER. BARKING OGTEN AND NO SOCIAL INTERACTION. PRAYERS FOR OUR FURRY FRIENDS

Oh my goodness. In touch with the dog owner. SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE SURE THE DOG IS NOT STILL IN THE BASEMENT AND IF THE POOR THING IS. THE OWNER OF THE HOUSE OR CITY AUTHORITIES NEED TO GET INSIDE AND CHECK. THE ABOVE SAYS THE DOG HAS BEEN ALONE SINCE FIRST WEEK OF THIS MONTH (OCTOBER). PLEASE UPDATE US ON THE WELFARE OF THIS DOG.... THANKS.

As of 5:00 pm today the dog is still in the basement.. barking and howling!!! Someone from LHS called me and said they talked to the owners and they will rehome the dog by 5 pm today.. I guess they lied to LHS

The Animal Response Team has been in contact with the owner of the dog who has continued to provide care. Requests for Landlord name and phone # have been refused by complaining tenants. Anyone who can provide this information should contact the ART at 201-547-4888 tomorrow between 8:30am and 4:30pm

Can someone please share the outcome of this Horrendous situation. Is the dog ok? have the owners come back? are the owners taking care of the dog? WHY WAS THE DOG LEFT ALONE IN THE BASEMENT? THIS IS ACCEPTABLE??

The Animal Response Team was happy to assist and ensure the dog was safe and receiving care. This was a temporary situation until the dog could move to his new home. He was receiving care in the interim - and then moved on to his new home.
