Description

There is a section of curb that has crumbled away and in doing so has exposed the sharp edge of a metal strip that reinforces the curb. This section of sidewalk curb is being used daily for a student Drop-Off Zone for Manzanita Seed Elementary. People pulling up to that area of the curb are able to pull more easily up onto the sidewalk (no curb to block the tires) while their fellow students are standing there helping to do a "valet" drop off service. Also, almost daily a driver pulls too closely to the curb and the metal edge will cut and deflate the front passenger tire. (see pics)
