The handicap spot belongs to a tenant of 88 Van Reypen Street who is infrequently there because he mostly lives in an apartment outside of Jersey City.

Legislation was recently adopted authorizing removing the reserved parking space from in front of 77-79 Van Reypen and relocating it 85 Van Reypen, closer to the applicant's residence.
A work order to relocate the signs will be submitted in the next couple of weeks.
