We will conduct a preliminary traffic assessment to determine what type of traffic control is warranted at this intersection. The preliminary assessment will also help identify if a more in-depth study is required. Please allow 3-4 weeks for the preliminary study to be completed.

A preliminary traffic assessment was conducted which included a review of the intersection’s crash history. Based on JCPD crash reports, this intersection meets the threshold to warrant a more in-depth study. We will collect traffic volume data at this intersection in order to conduct a signal warrant analysis. Please allow 4 to 6 months for this work to be completed.

This intersection badly needs a light!! very small children are crossing by themselves when no guard is available due to 3 schools nearby
