Car occupying charging space without plugging in. Again. This happens regularly. The signs really need to be changed to make it clear they are for charging only.

Thank you for reporting a parking enforcement need in Alameda. We appreciate your help tracking parking issues, as they can cause safety hazards and traffic disruptions, and block visitor parking. We have noted your issue and added it to the queue. Due to limited staffing and ongoing obligations, we are not able to respond to every request.
Please note that it is best to call 510-522-PARK to report parking violations in progress, as we do not monitor SeeClickFix in real time.

To report an abandoned vehicle or blocked driveway on a public street, call the Police non-emergency number at (510) 337-8340. Vehicles can be marked abandoned if they are parked for longer than 72 hours or have qualifying criteria like cobwebs, leaves, debris around the tires, debris on the vehicle, dirt, low tires, and/or missing and/or broken vehicle parts. The Alameda Police Department is also committed to being part of the solution. Effective immediately, they will increase presence and patrols through the facility. With time for design and construction, we will start to see the improvements at the start of the new year. Until then, the Parking Operator will continue to do what it can for cleanliness and graffiti abatement. Please do not hesitate to report any suspicious activity. For non-emergencies, please call APD dispatch at 510-337-8340. For emergencies, always dial 911. You can also report issues and concerns using this SeeClickFix website link or download the Alameda SeeClickFix app from any app store. There is a “Parking Garage – Civic Center” request type. Please submit issues to that category.
