All of my concerns have to do with pedestrian safety along the Church St, Smalley Park, St Paul corridor.
1) I think there is need of a crosswalk to connect the western Church St sidewalk with the park? There is not one presently and there is a lot ore traffic with softball there now. Cars cannot see kids at the north west corner and it gets sketchy.
2) Perhaps speed bumps or a stop sign on Adams would help? A driving concern with no crosswalk on Adams (see above) is that Adams is a primary cutoff for folks going north during rush hour wishing to avoid the St Paul/Maple intersection. Folks can go very fast and whip around the corner and I worry. I have seen a bunch of close calls.
3) Can we add a flasher to the crosswalk on St Paul that is the continuation of the Church and Smalley path? It is a tough crosswalk with folks going fast on St Paul and the signs are a bit blind. I have seen kids going home from school wait a long time and then even just race across without a car pausing. I think a flasher like we have at Killburn and Pine would help!

I am sorry to bother. I have been here a long time and it seems to just be getting worse now that the park is all spruced up and we have more young families about. All good things! We just need to make a safe place for them.
