A city planted tree in front of my house (810 Marcy Ave) is lifting the sidewalk creating a dangerous condition. I paid over $2000 for a new sidewalk just over a year ago. It is not fair that it is being destroyed by a tree that I did not request, plant or own. Please remove the tree and replace it with one that does not have roots that cause so much damage. If that is not possible please repair my sidewalk. I have reported this issue to the parks Dept via 311 and have not been contacted by anyone

Thanks very much. I have been trying to get help with this and EVERYONE I contacted passes me to someone else. All I want is for the damage caused by the tree the city planted to be fixed. The longer this goes in the greater the chance someone will get hurt in the raised sidewalk.
