  Ridiculous how there are so many abandoned cars parked on the streets for months. yet on street sweeping days (when they do come) tickets are given and the vehicle remains? what is the city of Oakland doing? raising homeowners taxes, alameda county waste management raising prices and streets are littered!

  With more than 20,000 reports of abandoned vehicles per year and a staff of 6 it take between 5 and 10 weeks to maybe have some one come out to put a 72 tow tag on. Parking enforcement 238-3099 does not communicate with AbandonedAuto@oaklandnet.com and neither ever call OPD. Then we have a car blocking the road and PWD will maybe report it to abandoned auto or not. Our city leadership keeps taking dysfunctional to ever lower levels.

  Abandoned auto is weeks out at best to put a 72 tow tag on it. ITS BLOCKING THE STREET!!!!! This is an accident waiting to happen.
