Description
Since repaving has finished there has been an increase in speeders on NE 10th Ave. Many kids play on this block. Please consider traffic calming improvements, speed reduction signage and increased police patrols. Thank you.

This section of road has a speed limit of 30 MPH.
Option 1. Public Works, Traffic Operations can lower the speed limit to 25 MPH as allowed FS 316.189, or
Option 2. Conduct a speed study in accordance with methodologies as found in the FDOT's Speed Zoning manual (current version can be found here (http://www.fdot.gov/traffic/speedzone/Speed%20Zoning%20Manual_063017_Final_withCover.pdf).
We recommend option 1, as option 2, speed studies require the jurisdiction to calibrate speed limit to the predominant/prevailing conditions (i.e. 85th percentile), and this may raise the speed limit.
