The parking signage at this location is inconsistent and appears to be incorrect. The sign near 71 pearl street clearly states that there is to be no parking on the second Tuesday of each month for street sweeping, but another sign farther down the same block states no parking on the second Thursday. Several people have been ticketed for parking there on Thursdays, believing it is a safe place to park because of the sign. I personally have been ticketed, fought the ticket, and was found not liable because of the signage. I would like for either the signage to be corrected, or for the ticketing officer to be notified that they are incorrectly ticketing people. I believe that the inconsistently is causing many of my neighbors to be wrongfully fined.
