I live on 37th Ave N, the dead end road attached to 49th st N. I live directly across from the new publix that is being constructed in the Disston Shopping Plaza. There is also lots of disruptive road work going on. I noticed there is a median being installed right on 49th St in front of the only exit and entrance to our road. Now we can't turn left onto 49th going northbound and coming out of the plaza to get down our road also leaves us no safe option for turning. People are cutting through some guys property and through the back of businesses. There was a chain barrier on this guys property and someone plowed through it. There was a crash on my dead end because people are clueless as where they are supposed to go. We need to be able turn onto 49th St N northbound from 37th ave N. There are never any accidents there so I fail to see why there would be a median there now. There have been MORE accidents, mostly due to no proper detours being set up. This is in addition to 38th Ave also being cutoff. It's hard to describe how bad this current set up is. You have to see it for yourself.
