I agree, very stupid idea to do this. I understand Roseville wants to make a little downtown area. But wouldn't it be a good idea to get that going first before screwing up traffic? Not to mention its now a pain in the rear to make a turn onto utica road now from a side street. It could be 10 years before anything happens with the new downtown area. I myself have almost been hit head on 4 times to make a left hand turn on my street coming home from work in the middle of the night because people are driving down the now left turn lane. The day that happens you better believe a lawsuit will be filed. Open thee road back up until it needs to be adjusted.

City of Roseville assigned this issue to Roseville Department of Public Services

The Michigan Department of Transportation is responsible for Gratiot Avenue. We will contact them to make appropriate replacement of the reflective markers and address the road striping.

The county has been notified of the bollards that were hit by their trucks. We have placed barricading along that stretch until they replace said bollards.

All bollards along this stretch have been replaced.
