  I had a similar problem 5 years ago. Load music two doors down all night and into the wee hours in the morning. The OPD was just about useless as one would expect. Luckily, one of the musicians was arrested for murdering his own father by the Berkeley Police. The music finally stopped.

  Call OPD non-emergency at 510-777-3333 and keep calling them and reporting it over and over until the inconsiderate neighbors stop

  I appreciate your suggestion about calling dispatch, but I am not calling the cops on black people for loud music, because there's a not insignificant chance the cops will shoot someone. This is the job of the nuisance abatement division.

  I don't think nuisance abatement will be able to help you. I've dealt with them before and they've proven to be pretty useless. I've had noisy neighbors (Who also happened to be black) and called OPD on them. Nobody was shot and they quieted down afterwards. If you want this problem resolved I would advise you to do this. If not, be prepared to deal with this for a long time.

  Interesting. I've never dealt with them before, and their webpage made it sound like this problem was in their jurisdiction, but it sounds like they're not very effective. Thanks for taking the time out to share your experience and advice.

  Since it looks like someone assigned this to Nuisance Abatement, I'm looking to hear from them in this thread, or I'm going to assume they're not working on this. I know you all probably went home at 5, but this is a persistent problem with this house, and you can just as easily ticket them on another day. I'm going to keep making posts about this in SeeClickFix until I hear from you.

  I followed other advice in this thread and called OPD dispatch, but the music continues. It's been 6 hours of loud music now.
