Is anything going to be done to move the homeless encampments, particularly the one at the entrance to Aquatic Park? I have stopped running and would like to know when it's cleared out. I have been assaulted once by the vagrants and harrassed multiple times.

I gotta say, that's one of the cleanest homeless encampments I have ever seen and I've personally never had any issues walking by it. The Aquatic Park has always been a little sketchy, homeless encampment or not. You experience may differ, but I found the ones doing the harassing (screaming, or even flashing their junk) in the park are not necessarily the ones living in that encampment.

OK so *that* encampment has nice, clean well behaved folk? I'm a middle aged woman so perhaps I'm something of a target, but I've had creepy stuff yelled at me, and someone jumped me..I had to evade him and then sprint away. Honestly, I'm not sure if the person who jumped me was from that camp or another camp or was just a transient, but the yelling comes from them. Wow learning for me I guess: I did not know that there were nice people with clean encampments. My experiences have been universally negative. Just being female i guess.
