on 11 Mile Rd East of Dequindre, there needs to be a yield sign for drivers coming from the I-696 Service drive that are merging onto 11 Mile Rd. People coming from the i-696 Service Dr are driving too fast...and it's too crazy there.
I-696 and its entrance and exit ramps are under MDOT jurisdiction. I don't believe they monitor this website. You can contact them directly at 586-978-1935.
I disagree, they need to change the yield sign on the service drive to a STOP sign. People coming off of the the expressway have the right of way, and NOBODY ever even pauses or breaks to see if anyone is coming off of the expressway. This is my least favorite place to drive!
Once again, for an answer on this, you should contact MDOT directly with your concerns as they do not monitor this SeeClickFix website. Their number is 586.978.1935.
The service drive needs a STOP sign, not a yield sign. THE SERVICE DRIVE IS SUPPOSED TO STOP FOR THE E-WAY EXIT RAMP TRAFFIC. No one yields to let people off of the express way. They ignore the yield sign and keep going, not even looking to see if anyone was exiting. Granted, people exiting the e-way onto the service drive should slow down when exiting, the service drive needs to stop at the exit ramps and make sure there is no one coming off of the exit before continuing on. People see yield and think they don't have to stop, because it doesn't say STOP!
