Seconding this. During peak traffic hours, the line of cars often stretches all the way back toward the Stadium bridge when heading north, and only a few cars actually make it through the intersection heading south at the end of the day, keeping traffic backed up all the way past Hill. Losing a lane has made this entire stretch a mess.
I agree also. From the city website, they have to replace a broken traffic signal pole, but it doesn't say when the replacement is expected to arrive. Is there an estimate for this yet?
Beginning on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, the northbound curb lane of State, just before the intersection with Hoover, will be closed to vehicle traffic. A broken traffic signal pole had been discovered and needs to be replaced, therefore a temporary traffic signal will be occupying the vehicle lane until a replacement pole arrives. www.a2gov.org/roads.

Yes, all you did was copy and paste the information at the web site I already linked to. That was written over two weeks ago. When is the replacement pole estimated to arrive?

It is 3/22/18, and there has been no posting as to the timing of this problem. And the problem causes severe traffic backups on State, on Packard, and on Hoover.
