I live on Lawton Drive, every morning the SPEEDING traffic that comes down my street due to Belcher Elementary is crazy. I have a son who goes to Belcher and have had a son previously who has gone there and I have never seen it this bad. These parents do not want to wait for the light at Lancaster Drive so they decide to turn on our road and speed down our street. I occasionally drive my son to school. one morning a parent thought I was not going fast enough so she proceeded to ride my bumper than went around me through a neighbors yard just missing his mailbox. She had two small children in the car with her.
I am worried someone will get hit by all this speeding.We have several older people who live on this street who I see walking. Not sure if it would help but maybe if the turn arrow at Belcher into Lancaster was longer it would minimize the amount of traffic.
They also use the Roads in the neighborhood behind Lawton. That also includes school buses. The buses turn at Kersey Road by the synagogue and travel through the back neighborhood.
