Opis

Many large potholes on Plymouth between Barton and Broadway in all lanes. It looks like some were filled in with "cold patch", which has since disintegrated and is now making a mess. Please address with a real solution.

Understand that cold patch is all that is currently available. Asphalt plants do not open again till the spring. Drivers should exercise caution as during these late winter freeze/thaw cycles are going to produce many potholes. In addition, cold patch is not effective for shallow spots or deteriorating roadways.

So the only currently available solution isn't actually effective on what the city admits are "deteriorating roadways". And yet it continues to be used (I saw crews out this morning filling "shallow spots" in Water Hill). Got it, thank you! I'll be sure to quote this in my communication to my city council person! Very helpful!

Alice, we use cold patch as a bridge during the months during which other means are not available. We fill all the spots we can, but those shallow spots are easily uprooted by vehicle traffic and when it is, we will patch again.
