It's the "free" dump. If only Oakland would do something to catch these cretins.

Its only gotten worse if that is possible from my service request 784847 from 1/05/18 for this location. Its just a lot more spread out. Illegal dumpers and street zombies are never a good mix.

How about arresting these illegal dumpers and give thousands of hours of community service.

Illegal dumps mean the garbage company needs to have a sit down and consider some solutions. I've noticed my garbage bin was full and I got charged with an overage charge, maybe what's going on is people can't afford the overage fee and dumping around town because of that. I don't know just a thought. Whatever the case may be, the city is a dump zone period and it makes me sad. We're not the problem and the bad guys are not see these messages nor do they care 😏

It's small haulers who charge 50$ to haul stuff away. The dump fee at Davis Transfer Station is at least 75.00.

THANKS to everyone who has commented on this issue. It would be easy to set up cameras on this street. It is a dead end. There is only one way in and one way out. A few squad cars would easily block the exit. Impound the trucks and arrest the drivers. Like David Coleman recommends: thousands of hours of community service OR jail time.

That's a great idea I heard of a street paying for security wonder if the city would just patrol this area more or if the citizens will have to get together and pay a security for said amount of time. Thoughts?

This what happens when our elected official climb in bed with the likes of Waste management. They are now who picks up the majority of of illegal dumping and the city street can trash and yes once they got that contract the raised the dump fees.

Check in with the Universal electronic recycling depot. They are feed up with the dumping on their street. Maybe they can help with a camera. A neighbor just asked our Council Member Gallo to help clean the area on one of his weekend events.

I was over at the universal waste this am to drop off some small electronics. They were closed (11am). Will check back tomorrow. Thanks to you and your neighbor for contacting CM Gallons office. He would love to catch these dumpers!

Friday, Jan 26, 2017. Issue remains open. Multiple debris piles are still on the street. Nothing has been removed. I have reopened this issue.

Often if I start to see no action... I'll post it every day till they get it, opening new tags every time. It makes them actually have to work a little! I would suggest you do the same...
