It is not against the law to trim mangroves … there are restrictions (can only trim them within very specific limits etc) … any very basic google search would have told you the same thing! We live in Placido on the water and we trim our mangroves twice a year! It keeps them healthy and keeps the pepper trees from killing the mangroves. The problem is, every idiot thinks doing anything is illegal :/

Trimming mangroves is NOT illegal … we do it at least once a year and every time someone calls the city and fish and wildlife comes out with a measuring stick and confirms what we already know … the mangroves were trimmed properly
