How is that POS even up to code? Did anyone even look at it?

To whom it may concern. The plans were drawn and sealed by a licensed and certified engineer. They were reviewed by a licensed and certified plans examiner. What I can tell you is that the carport was not inspected as of this time. When the contractor calls in for his inspection we will know if the structure was built to the plans.

So a carport that size can meet code with only 3 poles anchored to the house or not? It looks cheap and I would never use that contractor bc it looks like some fly by night crap.

If you think about it, The structure not only has the three post but also the building attachment. That's why we require engineering.
