Thank you for your observation. The City of St. Petersburg is in the process of upgrading the signage and pavement markings to direct pedestrians and cyclists onto Causeway Blvd. N until the mulit-modal pathway is constructed along the northside of the Treasure Island Causeway.

Regarding your claim there is a sign in the location I reported, you are incorrect. I would be happy to provide photographic evidence to verify this. Please send link to email photo. I am a cyclist and I do not appreciate your dismissing this issue.

There was a sign in that exact spot for years up until a few weeks ago. It was identical to this sign which is at the entrance to 79th St. on both sides of Central Ave. (one facing east, one facing west). I'm guessing it was removed due to the cities plan to replace with better signage, per their comment above. The description I gave was incorrect, though. It's a white square, not a yellow diamond. I am also a cyclist. Happy a safe riding to you.
