These are the types of issues that are best reported to the police department.

When a specific person is engaging in a dangerous behavior, that should be reported to the proper authority while it is in progress.

Even if I were to witness someone going the wrong way in a bicycle lane I would have no authority to stop them.

If you see something dangerous happening, make note of the description of the person and their direction of travel. Notify the police of the dangerous behavior and they will provide additional instructions as needed.

It's a City wide problem with no solution.

sorry to use seeclick just to vent..police are instructed by the Mayor and chief to not "waste time" with bicycle law enforcement"...so without enforcement, you are correct, no solution..until someone gets hurt...

Its the principle RJ. Not to mention, with all the protected bike lanes being installed, its a matter of time until cyclists crash into each other. When cyclists are affected by other cyclists is the only time I think we will see a change.

how about the guy who rode his bicycle under the BED truck because he was not paying attention?..that hurt the driving record and staus of that dept's individual and of course, locol motion had to put there 2 cents worth in...that non profit is tearing the city apart...so we'll wait for another injury to do something?...
