Description

I would like to request that the traffic engineering department review the timing of the traffic lights at the intersection of Jordan Lane and 9th Avenue SW. It seems that since the construction in that area took place, the traffic light takes about 1 1/2 minutes to turn green at that intersection for the traffic heading North on Jordan Lane, regardless of whether any cars are present on 9th Avenue or not. And generally, there is very little traffic on the 9th Avenue side.

This affects all other traffic lights as you travel north on Jordan Lane. It now takes 7 1/2 minutes to get from the Jordan Lane/Bob Wallace intersection to get on to I-565 heading West. During rush hour, it can take 12-14 minutes. This is a distance of approximately 1/2 mile.
