The abandoned truck is still here since August. No more tickets put on truck and no orange tag to tow. So now what City of Oakland. Will this issue ever be resolved? I see abandoned vehicles around my neighborhood that have been there for months. Is my neighborhood a dumping ground, Have the officials of the eastside of Oakland forgot about us. What happened to our beautiful city?

There were only 20,000 reports of abandoned vehicles in Oakland in 2016. 2017 could not have been much better. There 6 offices are having a hard time keeping up. Have you called parking enforcement 238-3099 or emailed abandonedauto@oaklandnet.com that's the only way things get done.

vMr Coleman this issue has been OPEN since August 2017 when I first started this chain of comments. I have done everything to get this issue resolved. No one has come to ORANGE tag this vehicle but OPD continues to put tickets on it each week. Go figure. I am not getting my side of street cleaned so where is my tax refund for this. I am Outraged with our City and my neighborhood. So much trash! Neighbors are loading abandoned vehicle with garbage and trash. Since I have telephoned, emailed, seeclickfix and added so many comments on this issue, now what. What can I do to get this resolved!!

I completely understand your frustration. I have had deal with several of these by passed abandoned cars that sit around for months. I have watched our parking enforcement officers drive by multiply illegally parked cars or fast asleep. I take down the number on there car and report them to there supervisors. Our current elected official our worse than useless in dealing with this and many other issues. Its a shame we should not have them towed down by City hall or donate them to charities. I wish I had more answers than pounding ones head against a wall.
