A lawn business parks their truck, trailer and other equipment and blocks my entire access to my house-every week. I do realize that it is legal for anyone to park there. However, this is where I park when i unload groceries and this is very inconvenient for me. I am disabled. I have asked them 5 times to not park there, but they keep doing it.
I have called the police and they say that since there are no no parking signs there, that they can do nothing.
I think since this is a business and business equipment and Ive asked 5 times, that something could be done. Is there anything?

I agree john, lawn guys are only there for a short period of time and are limited in parking options. If thats the case then there is absolutly no reason to complain about the parking at all.
If they are parking overnight on a daily basis then yes the person has a complaint.
I know its a bit off point but i recently had a guy complain about my engine noise, and tried to harass me over that, he settled down after i offered to call the police out for him, some people get crazy if they have to do aomething different than they normally do.
All in all this board isnt for friviless complaints to which this is based off the rules, that truck is parked in the street so based off the rules alone its a poljce issue

Thats plain stupid if somethings done because from the looks of the picture the person parking on the street is only there to service a residents property and ia only going to be there for about 15 mins.
Its kind of hard to block someone from parking in a spot when your only going to be there for such a short time as the peraon arriving to park there most likely is arriving after the lawn truck has parked ao worst case would be they pull off to the side and wait 5 to 10 mins for them to wrap up thier work and leave.
I just cant believe that cosea is willing to pester someone about thier temporary 15 min legal parking, when all parties involved know the person ia not violating a law or code.
I would understand if the said lawn truck was parking there overnight but they arent, they are hust there for a job

Pickles. I can't believe it, but this person reopened the case. I moved here and bought my house in September 2013. I am 56 years old and in all my life I have NEVER lived anywhere like here, where people complain about the most trivial nonsense. I swear, it's like this person has nothing better to do all day than sit and look out of the window looking for something to complain about. "Whatever", you need to get a happier life. It's too short to waste it complaining about a lawn service legally parking its truck on the street while they cut someone's grass.
You mentioned in your complaint that you're physically challenged. I assume then that you do not cut your own grass and you have a lawn service that does it for you. Where then does YOUR lawn service park? In front of someone else's house? I think THEY should complain about YOUR lawn service in that case.
Why don't you just chill when that lawn service comes to cut grass. Go to the bathroom, take a book and sit on the crapper for 15 minutes and by the time you're butt gets numb, they'll be gone and you won't even notice.

No need to tell me john levat, ive almost seen it all on here, even nieghbors bully one another.
Not to mention i used to live avout 4 blocks from this person and even worked thru that nieghborhood as well and have never seen half the problems this person is wgining about, also see that company arpund and they are real professional on how they go about work from parking to the actual work so i have a pretty good feel about this.
I actuallt had one guy tell me in a different neighborhood that i wasnt aloud to run my mower on idle because it upset his dogs, mind you this guy lived across the street and 4 houses down from where i was at, nothing better to do.
Here in st pete ive seen way too many people think crap, like leave the drug dealers alone even when they have guns cause they arent hurting people, the i dont deserve a ticket when im breaking the law mentality towards police traps, the get out my way im setting the pace mentality towards driving, and the bully tactics people do on this board just to aggitate someone and waste peoples time.
I could go on and on but rather not, because people like me and you john are in the minority now unfortunatly
