Thank you very much for your response in completing phase one at Waddell park. It looks much better!
Perhaps, Mr. Floyd, you can answer my question. I am one of the people trying to increase neighborhood involvement in the Great Lakes area. It is not really possible to organize a neighborhood work day for families when there is lots of poison ivy, and problems involving the stability of the deck, safety of trees, and no clear idea of our responsibility.
Could you (or point me to the person who could) please outline for the Great Lakes Neighborhood association what the City of Decatur's responsibilities are in the upkeep of Waddell park, and what part is the neighborhood's responsibility? I have been looking for the answer to this question for some time, without success, and so would appreciate your looking into it, or letting me know where I can look for an answer.
