This issue is utter political garbage propaganda. If you don't like the name of the street you live on, pack your s#@t and move.

Or better yet, if it's so offensive, why did you move on to that street in the first place? Guess it's not THAT offensive after all. I hope you went through the history of every street name in Jersey City and made sure if it was named after a person, that person never did anything offensive ever. Gotta be consistent!

We could change it back to Railroad Avenue, but then we'd have to put the railroad tracks back to avoid confusion.

Changing the name is a great idea. Who would want to be associated with such a history?

Come up with the funds that will be need to change the name, street signs, overhead street signs on the highway, etc. and go for it!
